WHAT IS A KOOKS HOUSE?

Kook Houses debuted in 2023 after seeing a need for discipleship within our community. Up until this point, we had only hosted large gatherings that were more evangelistic in nature. Throughout this time, we started to dream up what it would look like to implement a style of gathering that really catered to those who sought to go deeper in their walk with Christ. This tension birthed what we now call Kook Houses.

Kook Houses are weekly gatherings all across California and beyond where our community gathers together to grow in their relationships with God and with each other

HOW DOES A KOOKS HOUSE WORK?

Each wave of our Kooks Houses spans for 8 weeks. Throughout these 8 weeks, individuals are challenged, equipped, and encouraged. Each Kooks House has the option of going through our Daily or weekly program. 

WEEKLY

FOR THE WEEKLY PROGRAM, MEMBERS MEET UP ONCE A WEEK, GO THROUGH THE SET MATERIAL, AND BREAK OFF INTO GROUPS TO PRAY, DISCUSS, AND GROW. THEY ARE CHALLENGED TO READ THEIR BIBLES CONSISTENTLY, SHARE THEIR FAITH WITH OTHERS, AND LIVE THEIR LIFE FIXED ON JESUS

DAILY

FOR THE DAILY PROGRAM, WE PARTNERED WITH AN INCREDIBLE ORGANIZATION CALLED JESUS DISCIPLE. JESUS DISCIPLE USES METHODS OF DISCIPLESHIP THAT HAVE BEEN TRIED, TESTED, AND PRACTICED FOR DECADES. MEMBERS USE THE WEBSITE JESUSDISCIPLE.COM AND CHOOSE THE KOOKS FOR CHRIST NETWORK. THEY GO THROUGH A PROCESS OF DAILY DISCIPLESHIP INCLUDING READING THE BIBLE DAILY, LISTENING TO MESSAGES, MEMORIZING SCRIPTURE, PRAYING DAILY, AND MORE.

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LOCAL CHURCH

We believe in the Local Church. Every one of our Kooks House Members are encouraged to get involved with the local church. We are privileged to be connected to a large array of churches. It is strongly encouraged that the members of our Kooks Houses attends one of the churches on our trusted churches list.
